Android’s dictionary is packed to the rim with words, but it isn’t the best at picking up place names or many other proper nouns. Follow this quick Android tutorial as we show you how to add words to the dictionary on Android 4.0.
Access your settings
Open up the settings menu on your device. Scroll down until you reach the Language & Input folder that is located under the Personal section.
This menu lists all the language options that can be modified on your Android 4.0 device. The option you need to access is named Personal Dictionary, and it located near the top of the list.
Add some words
By pressing the large ‘+’ icon at the bottom of the page, you can now add a new word to your dictionary. If you want to remove one of the words, simply press the ‘x’ simple next to it.
