The Android 4.0 update brought with it a new UI, which is both great to use and looks fantastic. If you decide that it really isn’t what you want your device to look like, then why not add a live wallpaper to the various home screens on your Android 4.0 device. These moving wallpapers, more commonly known as Live Wallpapers, are minimalist in their design but will give your device a fresh and modern look. Here’s how to do it.

While on your home screen, long press on any empty part of it until a menu appears. Make sure not to long press on any app or widget that you’ve applied to your home screen as a long press will select them instead.
Choose Live Wallpapers
From the menu that follows, press the middle option to be taken to the list of Live Wallpapers currently installed on your device. As well as these Live Wallpapers, you can also select to add a normal wallpaper or an images from the Gallery app if you so wish.
Select the wallpaper
There are quite a few option to pick through when it comes to Live Wallpapers, scroll down to see the full list of designs; although further Live Wallpapers can be downloaded from the Android Market. To preview what the wallpaper will look like simply open it.
Set the wallpaper
After choosing the Live Wallpaper you want to use, press the Set Wallpaper button at the bottom of the screen. After a few seconds of loading you’ll be taken to your home screen, where the new wallpaper will be in place. Repeat the above steps if you decide you want to change it again.
