How Easy Is It To Repair The Samsung Galaxy S7?

Our friends over at iFixit have been busily disassembling Samsung’s latest flagship – and what they found is quite startling. While it hasn’t been massively advertised by Samsung, several of the device’s internals are modular and can be switched out when necessary. It isn’t as easy as the LG G5, per se, but the option is nonetheless available.

But these modular pieces don’t include the battery, unfortunately. Layers of adhesive make removing the battery a difficult task, so you may want to keep hold of that power bank for now. If you also want to replace the glass casing yourself, think again, as the team found that by doing so you’ll cause some serious damage to the display.
