Google+ receives fresh new look, more features added

Google's very own social network receives major facelift. Read on to find out more.

Social media network, Google+, has undergone a massive revamp in terms of both design and function.

The stream view has been altered, as well as the navigation ribbon, making it easier to get around the app.

One of the criticisms which seemed to constantly plague the team behind Google+ was the lack of a feature that allowed users to create a hangout from the main menu. Google have listened, and have included this feature in the new update.

Users will also be happy to see more support for editing past posts, as well as a more refined system for contact recommendations.

Google have done well to give the users of their own social network a taste of ICS goodness, but without adversely affecting the function of the app itself.

Check the ‘My Apps’ section on your device to see if the new update is ready for you to download now.
