Google pushes Android 4.1.2 OS update to Nexus 7

Android 4.1.2 is the latest Android OS update and is currently being rolled out to Nexus 7 tablets.

Google has announced that the latest Android OS update, version 4.1.2, is ready to be rolled out.

The Jelly Bean update will first appear on the Nexus 7, with more devices to follow suit soon.

The changes in the latest Android OS update are minor, with Google stating the update makes things more stable, improves performance and fixes some bugs.

One of the biggest changes the update will bring is that the Nexus 7 homescreen will now support landscape mode.
