German communications company Gigaset has taken its first step in the smartphone market, releasing three mid-range devices called the Pure, ME and Pro.
The specs on the three devices are very good, with the ME and Pro running a Snapdragon 810 processor, 32GB internal storage, SD card storage up to 128GB, dual SIM and sporting 20MP and 8MP back and front cameras.
The key difference between the two higher end phones is that the Pro has a 5.5-in screen, an incredible 5GB RAM and a 4,000mAh battery, as opposed to a 5-in screen, 3GB RAM and a 3,000mAh battery. The Pro also has Gorilla Glass front and back, with a stainless steel frame.
The Pure is available in Europe and the UK from the autumn for £249 (€349), the ME will sell for £249 (€469) and the Pro is on sale for £399 (€549). These prices are good for the specs and materials used although they do fall a little short of the Honor 7 as it is selling Pro specs for a Pure price.
