1. Notifications
Android tablets keep many of the stock Android features from smartphone and the notifications bar is one of them. If works just as well, if not better, on a tablet.
2. Widgets
Widgets and home screen shortcuts are also supported, but some tablets do not use a dedicated tablet operating system which can make navigation slightly cumbersome.
3. Productivity
For email, document editing and more intensive productivity tasks, an Android tablet can make life a lot easier. Android tablets are now quite common in the workplace.
4. Buttons
The screens dominate, but the hardware buttons remain to aid navigation and to get you back to the home screen no matter what app you are currently using.
5. Camera
Many Android tablets now include cameras which can be useful for taking quick snaps, but are more commonly used for video calling over 3G or Wi-Fi. The experience is greatly enhanced by the bigger screens.
