Sometimes while we write and sub-edit our magazines one or two things slip through the cracks. We called Linus ‘Linux’ once, which was chuckle-worthy here, but sometimes it’s something that affects the working of one of our tutorials.
In the Dizmo tutorial in issue 152 – which subscribers will be getting around now and will be out this coming Thursday 7 May – we had placeholders for a location to download the relevant files for the project so we could update them before we went to print. This didn’t happen, and our instructions to use wget to download files from ‘x’ won’t work; however you can still easily do the tutorial!
The files you were supposed to download in the tutorial are available from FileSilo for the issue, so instead of downloading the necessary files online, you can just get them directly from the issue 152 FileSilo page and put them in the right place.
