Amazon Fire TV Stick

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is a tiny, Chromecast-style dongle that plugs into the back of your TV. Unlike Chromecast it runs Android, so it’s possible to install Kodi directly onto it.

Android TV box

For the price of a Fire Stick you can pick up a set-top box that runs full Android, sometimes with Google Play and sometimes without. They should be plugged into a TV or monitor.

Android tablet with MHL

Alternatively if your Android tablet – or even your phone – supports MHL you can plug it straight into your TV via a HDMI cable. Not all devices support this so you will need to check the specs.
