Destroy Gunners review

Does the action-packed Android game Destroy Gunners get destroyed itself by its controls? Read on to find out.

Few things can compare to the feeling of stomping around a battlefield, firing enormous guns and destroying everything that moves. That’s exactly the sort of game that Destroy Gunners wants to be. And whilst it does feature huge weaponry, it’s lacking in a few vital areas.

It’s an impressive looking game, featuring lots of detailed character models and some good looking scenery and explosions.

You play a giant mech, and your job is to make your way through the game, destroying everything that gets in your way with a variety of guns, rocket launchers, and, if things get bad, your fists.

Unfortunately, the touch screen controls aren’t up to scratch. Turning, firing and walking at the same time is almost impossible, meaning you’ll often find yourself surrounded, with nothing to do but hope you can clear one side before the others kill you.

It’s still fun, just not fun enough.
