Firstly, let’s start by telling you this game is not free. The first handful of levels are offered as part of the download, but any additional levels must be paid for. The titular robot’s task is to collect each level’s six power packs, fully charging Cordy and allowing him to unlock the exit. To do so, you must utilise the platform genre staples: running, jumping and pushing. Controls work fantastically, with onscreen input functioning intuitively.
And with visuals this charming, it’s easy to forget you’re even playing on your phone, such is Cordy’s sheer playability. The free levels are simple enough, acting as little more than tutorials for the main game. As such, you won’t get much enjoyment from those. Purchase the unlockable levels, however, and you’ll find yourself with more than enough content. Admittedly the levels never really reach taxing levels, and this is our only real complaint to direct its way. Despite this, Cordy is just, well, fun, and surely there is no better compliment for a game.
