Come to the Linux User Raspberry Jam! The south coast jam in association with the RNLI

The Linux User Raspberry Jam will be the first Raspberry Jam on the south coast, held on 5th April at the RNLI College in Poole, Dorset

We’re extremely proud to announce that we’re hosting our very own Raspberry Jam. If the title hadn’t tipped you off, it will be the first south coast Raspberry Jam of its type. We’ll be holding it at the RNLI College in Poole on the 5th April, and there will be places for 120 people to attend.

We’ll be charging £5 entry for over 16s, and kids are extremely welcome. We want to stress that we’ll only be using this money to cover the cost of putting on the event; anything extra will be donated to the RNLI and the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

What you’ll get for your fiver are expert keynote speakers from the world of Raspberry Pi development, workshops where attendees can learn to program and make with Raspberry Pi, and show-and-tell sessions where creators can share their latest projects.

If that wasn’t enough, you’ll even get to meet the Linux User editorial team! We’re actually quite nice in real life, honest.

Ticket for the Linux User Raspberry Jam go on sale this month and will be available from the Eventbrite website. We hope to see you all there!
