Booq Boa Flow Graphite

Keep your gadgets safe with this excellent, if pricey, backpack

Booq is a name many will know and trust when it comes to producing spacious, safe and comfortable bags for transferring electrical equipment around. The Boa Flow is the latest from Booq and caters for larger MacBooks, as well as having compartments for an iPhone and iPad.

Screen Shot 2016-01-14 at 14.40.42There’s little here in terms of extravagant design. Instead, the predominantly black exterior has a nice smart finish to it, with zips dotted around the frame to indicate just how many compartments users can have access to. For peace of mind, the entire bag is coated in a ballistic nylon coating, which is ideal for keeping your items safe in all elements, while the bag also remains rigid enough to stop items moving around when in transit. For extra protection, there’s a built-in rain cover that seamlessly slips over the top of the bag.

The main compartment of the Boa Flow is big enough to fit numerous items without cramming them in. For extra room, the bottom section of this compartment can be adjusted, but this does impact on the size of the bottom Boa Flow compartment. Smaller items are best placed in the elongated side compartments, while the very top compartment is a bit too small to realistically fit anything in. Each compartment, however, has been expertly lined to a high standard and includes pockets to help keep your items separated.

Justifying spending a large amount of money on a bag will be hard for a lot of people, but the Boa Flow is definitely one of the few bags we would wholeheartedly recommend. Although a couple of compartments are compromised with the space they offer, when you consider the superb build quality and the inclusion of a lost and found service if the bag is ever misplaced, this is a great choice for those who want a secure way to transfer their beloved products around.

Cost: €225/$225

Not perfect by any means, but Booq’s desire to create safe and stylish bags continues here with the Boa Flow. For peace of mind, this is a bag worth checking out.
