Ever wondered if your Mac needs antivirus software or a firewall? Want to know how to speed up your machine? Ask us (or any other question) and win a prize!

Big Mac Questions

Fancy winning yourself an awesome Apple-related prize? Wish iCreate’s team of experts could answer some important questions about your Mac at the same time? Well, wish no longer, friends, we’re ready to make all of your dreams come true. As part of some research for an upcoming feature we want to know about the burning questions you’ve been pondering about your Mac. Whether you’re a beginner wondering if you ought to be buying anti-virus software for your new iMac or a seasoned pro wondering if one Time Capsule backup is enough to take care of your backups, we want to know.

To enter this competition and win a fantastic prize from iCreate’s coveted cupboard of dreams, all you need to do is send us your burning big Mac Question. Check out the examples below, try to keep it short and not too specific (we’re talking mainly OS X, iLife and, at a push, iWork here) and either post it on our Facebook Wall, leave it in the comments below or email it to us at iCreate@imagine-publishing.co.uk.

Get your questions in before 2pm GMT on Monday 13th August 2012 to be in with a chance of winning. Winners will be notified at the end of the month. Prizes are chosen at random and cannot be exchanged, editors’ decision is final, etc. etc.

Stuck for ideas for your questions? Here’s a few great ones we’ve already received…

  • Does my Mac need anti-virus software?
  • Why are Macs so expensive?
  • Do I really need to run Software Update regularly?
