Apple has announced that it will reveal its second quarter financial results later this month, on Tuesday 23rd April. As always, the audio of the call will be streamed live at 2pm PST/10pm GMT, so you can listen in if you’re interested to hear how the company is getting on.
Since the last announcement in January, Apple has released the 128GB iPad, as well as releasing the iPhone 5 and cellular versions of the iPad and iPad mini in China – one of Apple’s fastest growing markets. There have also been price drops for the MacBook Pro with Retina display and MacBook Air lines.
In January, Apple announced its most successful quarter in history, with revenues of over $54 billion for the first quarter of the 2013 financial year. Those three months covered Black Friday and the run-up to Christmas, however; it’s not expected that the Q2 results will match these heights, but it may be the place where Apple announce plans for their $137 billion cashpile.
