Apple set to announce iPhone 6S, iPad Pro and tvOS at ‘Hey Siri’ event

A new iPhone leads the way for Apple's 'Hey Siri' event

It’s that time of the year again when Apple take to the stage and show us what they’ve been working on as of late. As ever, there are rumours flying about all over the place, looking to predict what exactly we’re going to see later today. While nobody for sure knows what we’ll see announced, we can be almost sure about a few things. Read on to see what we think will be announced later today.

iPhone 6S

There’s going to be a lot of updates in the new iPhone and it looks like the hotly tipped 6S name will be used. Some of the new features we expect to see include a new Rose Gold colour variant, 12-megapixel camera, the new A9 chip and perhaps the inclusion of Apple’s successful Force Touch technology. Siri will also play a massive role in the iPhone 6S, with a new always-on feature taking centre stage.

iPad Pro

Have you ever longed for a larger iPad? Yes? Well you’re going to be in luck with the new iPad Pro. We’re unsure on whether the display is going to be 12 or 13-inches, but it’s definitely going to be bigger than any current iPad on the market. The base model is set to offer 32GB of internal storage, while 64GB and 128GB variants will also be made available. Expect it to be very expensive, however.

One of the curveballs we’re expecting to see announced tonight is a new operating system for Apple TV called tvOS. There’s going to be plenty of OS X and iOS 9 crossover, and you’ll find some of the best features of iOS 9 readily available for you to use.
