Apple has released iOS 6.1.3 to all iOS users, including a number of small enhancements. The biggest improvement comes in the form of a bug fix for the well-documented passcode security bug. The official documentation is below:
This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
– Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app
– Improvements to Maps in Japan
It has also been announced by MuscleNerd, one of the team behind the Evasi0n jailbreak, that the update will fix a bug associated with hack. He has warned jailbreakers not to update to the latest version via Twitter:
The update started life as iOS 6.1.1 a month or so ago, but after Apple released a couple of emergency updates to fix bugs, the release was pushed back and became iOS 6.1.3.
