Apple releases iOS 6.1.3 to fix lockscreen bug, kill Evasi0n

Apple has released the latest update to iOS 6, with version 1.3 fixing the controversial lockscreen hack, adding maps support for Japan, and fixing the bugs used in the Evasi0n jailbreak

Apple has released iOS 6.1.3 to all iOS users, including a number of small enhancements.
The biggest improvement comes in the form of a bug fix for the well-documented passcode security bug. The official documentation is below:

This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

– Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app
– Improvements to Maps in Japan

It has also been announced by MuscleNerd, one of the team behind the Evasi0n jailbreak, that the update will fix a bug associated with hack. He has warned jailbreakers not to update to the latest version via Twitter:

The update started life as iOS 6.1.1 a month or so ago, but after Apple released a couple of emergency updates to fix bugs, the release was pushed back and became iOS 6.1.3.
