App Review – WiFi Disk

Developer: Headlight Software
Category: Business
Price: £1.19

WiFi Disk is a well-designed, good-looking piece of software that does the job it claims to do very well. The interface is easy to understand and makes getting hold of files on your iPhone a breeze. You can quickly connect to your iPhone from any device with an internet browser and also use FTP to transfer documents back and forth. All iPhone-compatible formats can be viewed with WiFi Disk including pictures and text documents, the latter being editable with a built-in text editor. What makes the application so handy is the way in which the main screen provides information to the user. The image of a floppy disk covers the files that are currently stored on your iPhone and the post-it at the bottom of the screen is a useful reminder of the address required to access the iPhone via a browser or using FTP. A fun and functional application for file storage.
