App Review – Koi Pond

Developer: The Blimp Pilots
Category: Entertainment
Price: £0.59

There’s something relaxing about watching fish swim around, whether it’s in a tank, a pond or a river. With Koi Pond you can have the relaxation of a pond of fish without the constant upkeep and danger of getting wet. The graphics in Koi Pond are truly beautiful, with amazing water effects and smoothly animated koi swimming around among lily pads. Touch the screen and you disturb not only the water with incredibly real ripples, but also the fish that scatter in different directions – only returning when all seems safe. Shake your phone to release food into the pond and feed the fish and even lure them into nibbling you finger by holding it still on the screen. The sound quality is also epic. It doesn’t sound like there’s much to keep you involved with Koi Pond but believe us, you’ll keep coming back to it just to relax and marvel at a truly realistic pond on your iPhone.
