It was only a matter of time before this app found its way on to the iPhone. The big question is: is it that different from Maps?
Well, luckily it is. First you get the cool shot at the start of the app where you can navigate around the globe and zoom in to somewhere that you like the look of. You also get extremely cool animated transitions between the location you’re looking at and any search you action, or if you pressthe Location Finder button. Even cooler than that though, you can tilt your iPhone and your viewing angle will change, allowing you to see the terrain. On top of this you also get handy icons that appear allowing you to quickly access Wikipedia articles.This is great fun, but it works much better on Wi-Fi than on 3G.
