Sometimes with the iPhone, it’s not about what it does but how it goes about doing it. Bump is the perfect example, letting you share photos, email, your contact card and address by simply holding your iPhone and bumping your fist with a friend clasping their own iPhone.
When it works for the first time, you can’t help but be amazed. You can even attach a file and share that with a bump and setting it all up couldn’t be easier. You download the app and it prompts you to fill in your contact details in My Profile and, once you’ve done that, you’re ready to roll. A Help option is available to assist if you get stuck. Obviously, the drawback is that you have to physically be with a friend in order to file share but that is the point. The fact is, it does it very quickly and it actually makes file-sharing fun.
