4 things we expect to see in the iPhone 7

With the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus selling in their millions, it's time to start getting excited about the iPhone 7.

iPhone 6

Although it’s only January, we’re already getting excited over the prospect of the iPhone 7 being with us later this year. Here are 5 things you can expect to see from Apple’s latest device.

1. It’ll have a spectacular A9 processor

Even though the 64-bit A8 processor in the iPhone 6 Plus is fantastic, expect to see the A9 processor make its debut in the iPhone 7. There’s talks that the new processor will be co-manufactured with Samsung, who have a solid pedigree in this area.

2. Wireless charging is a viable option

Many of us were disappointed that the iPhone 6 didn’t have a wireless charging option, but with the Apple Watch set to launch with inductive charging, there’s a good chance that wireless charging will finally make its debut in the iPhone 7.

3. RAM will be doubled

Apple has done a great job at streamlining just how little their devices use the RAM contained within. For the iPhone 7, there’s talk of a hefty 2GB of RAM, which should make any slight lag issues instantly disappear.

4. ‘Force Touch’ technology to be included

This incredible technology enables the device to distinguish between quick taps and more forceful presses while using the device. Although it’s unclear how it’ll be implemented on to the iPhone 7, however.
