After months of speculation, today marks the official launch event of Apple’s first foray into the wearables market. Plenty of things have already been discussed regarding some of the killer features we can expect to see announced tonight, but nobody knows what Apple could potentially unveil tonight. However, here are 3 things we expect to see from today’s Apple Watch event.
1. Expect variants of the watch
Sizing is something that Apple has thought deeply about when it comes to the Apple Watch. It’s expected that two different sizing options will be first announced, both of which will be aimed at different types of users. A fully gold variant is also rumoured to be making an experience and although this variant is unlikely to be made available for public release, it’s likely to cost thousands of pounds for the limited user base it’s available for.
2. There will be plenty of apps
Apple has been keen to constantly discuss ideas with keen app developers to make sure there’s a good array of options upon its release. Not only should you expect to see the same level of app quality we’ve become accustomed to on our iPhones and iPads, but many of the big name social media sites should also be ready to go on your wrist.
3. Public release in April
Although an announcement in March may seem like Apple will also launch their new wearable in the same month, it’s widely expected that mid-April release date will be announced. Early reports indicated that a restricted release in the US could happen, but it’s now believed a worldwide release will in fact be taking place.
